en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 28, the Guangzhou China-Europe Railway Express celebrated its 10th anniversary of operation. Over the past decade, this "steel artery" has operated more than 3,600 trains cumulatively, closely connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with over 20 countries across Europe and Asia. Leveraging the railway network, all seven major ports including Manzhouli and Alashankou have been fully connected, with 24 routes covering the western, central, and eastern corridors. The frequency of trains has grown from one per week to daily high-frequency departures. Unaffected by weather conditions, with stable capacity and high punctuality, this "steel camel caravan" has become a stable artery for foreign trade in the Greater Bay Area.

Over the decade, cargo has evolved from clothing, shoes, and hats to new energy vehicles and smart home appliances, with high value-added products accounting for 70% of the total. Since the launch of the smart railway hub, loading and unloading time has been compressed to within four hours, and full-timetable trains are "precise to the minute." This year, a new rail-sea intermodal route "across two seas" was also launched, saving one-third of the time compared to sea freight.
