Semight Instruments (Semight), which was listed on the STAR Market in April this year, is a leading enterprise in the domestic high-end testing equipment sector, ranking first among domestic manufacturers and third globally in domestic market share. The company is deeply engaged in the fields of high-speed optical communications and semiconductor testing, mastering three core technologies: high-speed signal processing, weak signal processing, and ultra-precision motion control. It is the second company globally to launch a full set of core testing instruments for 1.6T optical modules, with products covering the entire testing needs of the optical chip, device, and module industry chain, directly serving the domestic substitution of AI computing power infrastructure.

The Semight Instruments Global Headquarters project, which broke ground this time, is located in the core area of Suzhou High-tech Zone, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, a total land area of 97.55 mu, and a total construction area of approximately 200,000 square meters. Integrating headquarters operations, high-end R&D, and pilot production functions, it will build the largest R&D and production base for high-speed chip testing in China.

The site planning is based on the dual requirements of "industry adaptation + urban display," forming a clearly logical dual-core layout: the southern area, along the Taihu Elevated Road and Changjiang Road urban interface, houses the headquarters R&D office, creating a window for showcasing the enterprise's high-end image; the northern area is planned as the production plant area, ensuring efficient operation of the process layout; a central garden is embedded between the two functional zones, creating an ecological buffer zone and landscape core, achieving physical separation and ecological linkage between office and production.

The tower on the west side, with its staggered and elevated volumes, together with the R&D cluster on the east side, outlines an undulating skyline that appears distinctly layered when viewed from a distance along the elevated road. The neatly arranged elevated colonnade on the south side of the podium alleviates the oppressive feel of the large-volume building, making the entrance plaza open and inviting.

Creative and breakthrough inspiration rarely emerges from enclosed cubicles. To this end, a double-height shared atrium is embedded every three floors in the office tower, breaking the monotony of cubicles and allowing R&D personnel to pause, communicate, and spark ideas at any time; the stepped terraces on the rooftop are layered with greenery, bringing nature to high altitudes; multi-level corridors connect office, R&D, and production, ensuring convenient and unobstructed personnel flow, while also symbolizing the technological ambition of "connecting the present with the future."

The groundbreaking of the Semight Instruments Global Headquarters project will directly accelerate the breaking of the technological monopoly held by overseas giants in the fields of high-speed optical communications and semiconductor testing.

As a "chain leader" covering full-chain testing, this headquarters will attract upstream and downstream collaborative innovation and open an "instruments + equipment + solutions" ecosystem to small and medium-sized enterprises, lowering the barrier to testing.
