Swiss Streule+Alder acquires 7-tonne Spierings crane

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Swiss construction company Streule + Alder has recently taken delivery of its first Spierings crane, a model SK487-AT3 City Boy self-erecting mobile tower crane.

The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 7 tonnes at a working radius of just under 12 metres; at its maximum radius of 40 metres, it can still lift 1,700 kilograms. The overall maximum hook height exceeds 55 metres, with tower sections available in four heights—21, 24, 27, and 30 metres—and the jib can be angled at 15, 30, or 45 degrees.

In terms of power, the SK487-AT3 can operate in pure battery-electric mode or as a plug-in hybrid, and is equipped with a small low-emission diesel engine to charge the battery pack.

The total weight of the machine is 36 tonnes, and its transport dimensions are 13.1 metres in length, 2.5 metres in width, and 4 metres in height.
