Brazil's Sada Group Launches Own Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station for Heavy Trucks
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 1, Brazilian logistics company Sada Group (Grupo Sada) inaugurated its first own compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station for heavy trucks in São Bernardo do Campo. The facility is located at Brazul Pátio Carreteiro and is part of the heavy fleet decarbonization program launched by Sada Group in 2024.

The fueling station project was developed in partnership with MWM, Comgás, and General Motors (GM). Comgás is responsible for natural gas supply and distribution infrastructure, MWM performs engine conversions on trucks to adapt them for CNG operation, and GM participates as an operational partner.
The fueling station is designed to meet the full daily refueling demand of heavy trucks at the São Bernardo do Campo unit. Currently, 10 heavy trucks use the facility, while another 25 CNG trucks operate in Betim, Minas Gerais.
Sada Group's heavy fleet decarbonization program began in 2024. In February 2025, Comgás announced the installation of CNG fueling infrastructure for Sada Group and signed a gas supply contract.As of February 2025, Sada Group had 11 CNG trucks in operation.
Sada Group stated that it plans to track fuel consumption and emission reduction metrics to assess expanding its own fueling infrastructure to other logistics routes.
