Everllence and TT-Line Sign Long-Term Propulsion System Service Contracts for Four RoPax Vessels

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 3, Everllence and German ferry operator TT-Line signed four long-term service agreements in Hamburg, covering two new RoPax vessels currently under construction at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., as well as TT-Line's two in-service RoPax vessels, Nils Holgersson and Peter Pan. The contract scope covers the full lifecycle operation and maintenance of Everllence propulsion equipment. Both parties have not disclosed the contract value or specific service duration.

The two RoPax vessels under construction are scheduled to enter commercial operation in 2030 and 2031, respectively, and will subsequently serve the Baltic Sea route between Germany and Sweden. Each new vessel will be equipped with four 6L49/60DF dual-fuel engines and an Everllence integrated propulsion system. The equipment package includes Twin-in-Single-out gearboxes, Alpha controllable-pitch propellers, an LNG fuel gas supply system, and the ship's electrical system.

The electrical equipment scope includes DC switchboards, power and energy management systems, and battery energy storage systems. The engines, mechanical transmission, electrical power, and energy storage equipment will form the integrated propulsion configuration of the two new vessels, with related system service responsibilities incorporated into these long-term service agreements. The new vessels are currently still in the shipyard construction phase and will sequentially proceed through equipment installation, system commissioning, sea trials, and commercial operation.

The service contracts also cover two sister vessels already in operation. Nils Holgersson entered service in 2022 and Peter Pan in 2023, both built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., each equipped with two 6L51/60DF and two 8L51/60DF engines and featuring Everllence propulsion systems. Following the signing, the relevant propulsion equipment of TT-Line's two in-service vessels and two newbuilds will be brought under a unified long-term service system.

Everllence will also provide ongoing operation and maintenance support from its Hamburg service center. The four contracts have been formally signed, with the two in-service vessels now entering the contract service execution phase, while service arrangements for the two newbuilds will be progressively activated in line with equipment delivery and vessel commissioning.
