Puri stated that India's Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas attaches great importance to cooperation with CNPC. As both India and China are major energy importing and consuming countries, he hopes the two sides will strengthen communication and exchanges on the basis of existing cooperation, enhance the level of cooperation through the BRICS platform, and work together to promote deeper and more substantive energy cooperation under the BRICS mechanism.
