en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 12, Tashkent State Transport University in Uzbekistan launched the country's first 5G technology teaching and practice workshop. The project was jointly built by the relevant vocational education institution of Tashkent State Transport University and Nanjing Zhongxing Xinyada Information Technology Co., Ltd. of China, and provides theoretical and practical teaching in areas such as 5G base station construction and maintenance, network planning, testing, and optimization. The project took about a year and a half to prepare, and the teaching courses, digital educational resources, virtual simulation platform, and supporting teaching infrastructure have been completed.

The workshop's teaching content includes 5G base station construction and maintenance, 5G network planning, testing, and network optimization, and is equipped with practical training tools such as a 5G network optimization virtual simulation system. Students can use 20 Chinese-language virtual simulation platforms and 20 English-language virtual simulation platforms, and the related teaching resources also include bilingual course materials and digital teaching resources. The computer systems, technical equipment, digital resources, and virtual platforms developed through the project will remain with Tashkent State Transport University for long-term use.

Teacher training is also one of the project's implementation components. Teachers from Tashkent State Transport University will participate in 144 hours of specialized training, with courses covering 5G communication technology, virtual simulation, network optimization, and practical teaching methods. Information released by the Uzbek side shows that the project is funded by an international grant, and the related software and hardware construction and teacher training are both included in the scope of this project's implementation.

The business of Nanjing Zhongxing Xinyada Information Technology Co., Ltd. directly corresponds to the workshop's curriculum design. Public vocational skill evaluation materials in China show that the company undertakes vocational skill training and evaluation business related to 5G network optimization; its public technical materials also show that the company has built a digital and virtual simulation practical training platform for vocational education. In addition to the Uzbekistan project, in recent years the company has also carried out cooperation with overseas universities and vocational colleges on digital skills training in 5G, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, optical fiber lines, and other areas.

The Uzbek side has designed the workshop's training directions to cover communications, radio electronics, and telecommunications technology, and to extend to application fields such as intelligent transportation systems, digital infrastructure, the Internet of Things, autonomous driving, and smart cities. The project has now entered the stage of putting the teaching and practice facilities into use and implementing the courses.
