HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Signs Compact Construction Equipment Cross-Selling Agreement with Manitou

Under the agreement, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment will procure Manitou's compact equipment and sell it globally through the HYUNDAI and DEVELON brand systems; Manitou will incorporate compact products developed by HD Hyundai Construction Equipment into its own product portfolio and sell them through the Manitou and Gehl brand channels.

The cooperation covers dedicated compact construction equipment product lines, with the core mechanism being mutual supplementation of existing equipment portfolios and cross-distribution through each party's respective sales channels. Manitou's existing machinery products cover categories including telehandlers, forklifts, compact loaders, and aerial work platforms, with products entering the construction, agricultural, and industrial equipment markets through its global channels.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment will procure Manitou's existing compact equipment and incorporate it into the HYUNDAI and DEVELON brand sales systems; Manitou will receive compact solutions developed by HD Hyundai Construction Equipment to expand the product range of the Manitou and Gehl brands. The agreement consists of mutual equipment supply and respective channel sales, with product development responsibilities and sales brands retained separately by each party as stipulated in the agreement.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment also proposed to expand its compact construction equipment business sales to KRW 1.3 trillion by 2030. The company plans to expand compact equipment production scale while expanding its product lineup, positioning this product segment as a new key growth area for its construction equipment business.

Global construction equipment sales in 2025 are approximately 1.2 million units, of which compact equipment accounts for more than 400,000 units, representing over 30% of total sales. This cross-selling agreement connects HD Hyundai's existing compact equipment products and Manitou's existing equipment portfolio to both parties' brands and distribution channels, with subsequent product sales covering both parties' existing global market networks.
