SKF Launches PLP Automatic Lubrication Pump Covering Industrial and Mobile Equipment

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 21, Sweden-based SKF launched the Progressive Lubrication Pump (PLP), an automatic lubrication pump designed for centralized lubrication applications in stationary industrial equipment and mobile machinery. The new product features a modular platform design covering equipment installation, commissioning, operation monitoring, and subsequent maintenance, and is equipped with grease level monitoring and connectivity functions.

The PLP improves accessibility to maintenance components in its structural design, supports faster installation and commissioning, and enables monitoring of grease storage status through grease level monitoring. SKF has also equipped the platform with connectivity options for obtaining the operating status of the lubrication system. The pump can continuously supply lubricant to key lubrication points of machinery in a preset manner, reducing on-site manual point-by-point lubrication operations.

The PLP launched this time is the first product series introduced under SKF's new-generation lubrication platform. SKF has designed the platform as a scalable architecture, allowing subsequent products to add new functions and configurations on the existing basis, and different industrial equipment and mobile machinery can be configured systematically according to specific lubrication requirements.

The PLP technology system also integrates SKF's and Lincoln's existing centralized lubrication technologies, with applications covering stationary production equipment and mobile equipment. During equipment maintenance, grease replenishment and operating status can be monitored through lubricant level information and system connectivity functions, while the pump's modular structure is used for subsequent maintenance and system upgrades.
