en.Wedoany.com Reported - Anton Paar recently launched a new generation of Diana automatic distillation analyzer series, including two models, Diana 301 and Diana 701, designed for atmospheric boiling range analysis of petroleum, fuels, solvents, and petrochemical products. The Diana 301 is primarily used for fuel distillation testing in accordance with ASTM D86 and EN ISO 3405 standards, while the Diana 701 further supports solvent testing standards such as ASTM D1078 and ASTM D850, covering a broader range of laboratory analysis scenarios.

The key upgrades of the new series focus on vapor temperature measurement, heating, cooling, and the receiving chamber structure. The Diana 701 is equipped with a metal vapor temperature sensor to replace traditional fragile glass sensors while maintaining the same level of measurement performance. The sensor and flask mounting structure are integrated into a Multi-Plug module with independent storage capability, which can save sensor identification and temperature calibration data and automatically retrieve them upon device connection, improving traceability during the replacement of different sensors.

In terms of continuous operation capability, the Diana series uses long-life heaters, with officially verified heating cycles exceeding 10,000 times; the receiving chamber features a contamination-resistant design and is equipped with anti-condensation technology to maintain volumetric detection stability in high-humidity environments. The Diana 701 also uses a liquid-free Peltier cooling system, which can quickly adjust the condenser and receiving chamber temperature when switching between different distillation methods. Method switching time can be controlled within 5 minutes, reducing waiting time during continuous laboratory testing.

The Diana 701 also enhances automated testing capabilities. It can automatically monitor the cleanliness status of the flask and condenser as well as the support structure configuration, and adjust heating conditions according to the testing process. Sample volume detection uses contact image sensor technology with a resolution of 0.01 mL, enabling continuous tracking of liquid level changes in the graduated cylinder. The device can also read the initial sample volume before testing begins and complete volume correction according to the test settings.

In terms of data management, the Diana 701 supports Wi-Fi, LAN, LIMS, and Anton Paar's AP Connect laboratory data platform, enabling automatic export and storage of test results, with a single device capable of storing up to 4,000 measurement data records. The Diana 301 is designed for routine fuel testing, retains standardized distillation functions, and provides USB data export and external printer connection capabilities.

The new generation Diana series primarily serves refining, fuel quality testing, petrochemical production, solvent production, and third-party testing laboratories. The focus of the product update is not to expand the scale of single-batch sample processing, but to improve equipment durability, automation level, data traceability, and continuous operation capability in high-frequency atmospheric distillation testing.
