Acron Aviation Expands Singapore Avionics Repair Authorization to Cover Full ACSS Surveillance Product Line

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 25, Acron Aviation announced the renewal of a 5-year Authorized Repair Center (ARC) agreement with Thales Singapore and the expansion of the Singapore repair center's service scope to cover all ACSS aviation surveillance products. Under the new agreement, Thales Singapore will continue to provide repair and overhaul services for ACSS surveillance equipment to aviation operators and maintenance organizations in the Asia-Pacific region, including products such as T3CAS. Following this renewal, the Singapore center becomes Acron Aviation's only partner in the Asia-Pacific region authorized for surveillance product repair.

The existing repair list published on Acron Aviation's official website shows that Thales Singapore's repair capabilities within the ACSS product line cover TCAS 2000, TCAS 3000SP, T²CAS, T³CAS, Mode S transponders, Lynx, and TCAS antennas, among other equipment. Thales' existing repair capability list also includes the XS-950 Mode S datalink transponder, RT-95x TCAS computer, T²CAS computer, and Surveillance Processor Computer Unit, among other equipment.

ACSS is an aviation communication and surveillance systems business platform jointly established by Acron Aviation and Thales, with products serving mainline commercial aircraft, regional aircraft, business jets, helicopters, and military manned and unmanned aerial vehicles. Its surveillance products primarily cover functions such as traffic alert and collision avoidance, Mode S transponder, and ADS-B. The core of this agreement adjustment is to bring more ACSS surveillance equipment repair and overhaul capabilities to be completed locally in the Asia-Pacific region.

Acron Aviation stated that some Asia-Pacific customers previously needed to complete relevant repairs outside the region. With the expanded authorization of the Singapore center, relevant equipment can now be inspected and overhauled within the region. Acron's existing global aftermarket system also includes repair nodes such as Grand Rapids in the United States, Muirhead Avionics in the United Kingdom, and Jet Avionics in Brazil, with the Singapore center undertaking regional repair tasks for ACSS surveillance products in the Asia-Pacific.
