India's Praneetha EcoCables Sanand Plant Commences Production, First Batch of Bare Copper Wire Shipped

en.Wedoany.com Reported - India's Praneetha EcoCables has commenced commercial production at its greenfield wire and cable plant in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and completed the shipment of its first batch of bare copper wire. The project covers approximately 30 acres, and the overall plant is currently advancing toward full commissioning and production.

According to plan, the company will commence full production of solar cables by October, followed by building wires and flexible cables by November, with additional product categories to be rolled out in phases thereafter. The company has already launched a nationwide campaign and begun establishing its dealer network.

The manufacturing plant held its groundbreaking ceremony in September 2025 on the 30-acre site. Over the past year, supported by the installation of advanced manufacturing equipment from Europe, China, Turkey, and India, plant construction and infrastructure development have progressed steadily, and the facility is now approaching full production.

On the raw materials front, Praneetha EcoCables will source 100% of its virgin copper requirements from Kutch Copper Limited to ensure copper purity of 99.97% and above across its product portfolio. This Mine-to-Market integrated approach is expected to provide customers with assurance in terms of product quality, consistency, reliability, and long-term performance.

Company Director Pranjal Goel stated that Praneetha EcoCables was established with a clear vision to redefine industry benchmarks in quality, transparency, and sustainability. In a short period, the company has made significant progress toward its ambition of becoming one of India's most trusted and innovative wire and cable manufacturers within five years. In addition to shipping its first batch of bare copper wire products, Praneetha EcoCables also held a Pran Pratishtha ceremony for a newly built temple within the manufacturing plant, witnessed by key stakeholders.
