Triton in the Netherlands receives first fully electric Klaas K2350E crane

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dutch lifting and shifting company Triton Transport Techniek has taken delivery of the Netherlands' first fully electric 9-tonne Klaas K2350E truck-mounted crane, supplied by local dealer All-Up.

The crane combines a battery-electric Klaas superstructure with a three-axle Volvo FM 6x2V fully electric chassis, offering the same specifications as the diesel-powered model but with zero emissions and no noise.

In terms of lifting capacity, the K2350 can lift a maximum of 9 tonnes at a maximum radius of 6 metres and a height of 18 metres. The machine is equipped with a three-section 31-metre main boom and a five-section telescopic jib on top, with a maximum tip height of 51 metres, at which it can lift 750 kg; at a radius of 36 metres and a height of 14 metres it can lift 1 tonne; at a maximum radius of 45 metres it can lift 250 kg at a height of 11 metres.

The machine includes a work platform option, with a maximum working height of nearly 48 metres, an outreach of 36.5 metres at a 250 kg load and 33 metres at a 400 kg load. It has also been customised for Triton's specific operational needs, which cover complex machinery relocations, specialist lifts and complete cleanroom projects, with the company's motto being "the more complex, the better".

Triton co-owner Dirk-Jan Scholten said: "The more complex the project, the more we enjoy it. Triton is headquartered in Diessen, between Tilburg and Eindhoven, and is managed by owners Dirk-Jan Scholten and Wil van Pelt. The company specialises in mechanical installation and relocation, as well as load jacking and rigging work, and operates a fleet consisting of spider cranes, Pick & Carry cranes, truck-mounted cranes and some aerial work equipment.
