en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 20, Canadian mining company VR Resources announced that the expanded drilling permit and associated reclamation bond for the New Boston polymetallic project in Nevada, USA, have been approved, with the number of approved drill sites at the Jeep property increased from 8 to 16. The company completed a site visit on October 8–9 to inspect all approved drill locations and to determine road access and site operating conditions for the follow-up drilling program.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management approved the first drilling permit for the Jeep property on March 6, 2026, and the company subsequently completed drill hole NB26-003 in June. On September 11, VR Resources submitted a permit amendment application to expand the drilling area, which was approved on September 16; the associated reclamation bond was submitted on October 6 and approved on October 9. With all permitting and bonding procedures completed, the company has begun arranging the next phase of drilling operations.

The next round of drilling will focus on verifying the along-strike and down-dip continuity of the copper, molybdenum, tungsten, and silver polymetallic mineralization intersected in drill hole NB26-003. The hole has a total length of 881 meters, including a shallow mineralized interval of 317 meters averaging 0.77% copper equivalent grade and a deeper mineralized interval of 419 meters starting from 460 meters averaging 0.48% copper equivalent grade. Approximately 2,100 meters of east-west trending mineralized vein zone has been identified at surface at the Jeep property, and the anomaly zone delineated by the 2023 three-dimensional induced polarization survey has a chargeability of 15–21 mV/V.

The company is evaluating follow-up drill locations including J5 and J10. J5 is located approximately 300 meters east of drill hole NB26-003, and J10 is located approximately 500 meters east of it, where multiple generations of quartz stockwork veining and garnet skarn alteration are exposed at surface. VR Resources previously completed a C$7.5 million private placement financing, the proceeds of which include follow-up drilling at the New Boston project, with a fall exploration program of 4 to 6 drill holes planned.
