en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 28, Singapore-based digital infrastructure operator OneQode signed a 14 MW data center capacity agreement with Indian data center operator AdaniConneX, with deployment located at the SIPCOT Information Technology Park in Siruseri, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This is OneQode's first large-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure project in India, and the acquired capacity will be used for AI model training, inference computing, enterprise AI applications, and sovereign AI workloads.

The deployment will connect to OneQode's existing global carrier-grade communications network, linking its AI computing infrastructure in different regions. The Chennai node is planned to leverage the existing low-latency network to provide cross-regional computing connectivity services to customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. The two parties are also discussing follow-on capacity expansion opportunities of up to 114 MW within India, a scale that is part of potential arrangements under negotiation.

The computing equipment deployment will build on the partnership established between OneQode and AMD in May 2026, using AMD Instinct series GPUs for AI infrastructure construction. OneQode also plans to introduce AMD Helios rack-scale computing solutions in its broader computing power deployment, with the relevant equipment used to support large-scale model training and inference tasks.

AdaniConneX operates the Chennai 1 hyperscale data center at the SIPCOT Information Technology Park in Chennai. The facility is planned for an IT load capacity of 33 MW, of which Phase 1 with 17 MW is already operational, supported by 110 kV GIS substations from two independent power sources and four independent fiber paths. The site offers cabinet cooling configurations for high-density computing equipment, and the capacity contracted by OneQode is located in the area of this park.
