The acquired company is headquartered in Belle Glade and serves the local area and the surrounding Glades region, primarily providing propane delivery, cylinder exchange and related services to residential, commercial and agricultural customers. The transaction is an acquisition of an existing gas distribution business.
Affordable Gas's existing operations cover two segments, propane delivery and cylinder exchange, with customers across residential, commercial premises and agricultural operations in southern Florida. Following the acquisition, the company will receive operational support from Palmdale and continue serving local customers.
Palmdale Propane handles the propane distribution and related services business of its parent company, Palmdale Oil. This acquisition brings Affordable Gas's customer service operations in the Glades region into its southern Florida operating network. The transaction announcement did not involve any new propane storage facilities, filling lines, gas processing units or engineering construction contracts.
