en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 29, US ion exchange resin manufacturer ResinTech confirmed a $30 million investment to expand its production base in Camden, New Jersey. The project will add 34,500 square feet (approximately 3,205 square meters) of manufacturing and warehouse facilities within the existing approximately 27-acre site. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026 and be completed in early 2028, with the expansion expected to add 100 permanent full-time positions.

The new building will serve both manufacturing and warehousing functions. The expansion project is also expected to provide approximately 113 construction jobs and retain the site's existing 259 positions. The added production capacity will be directed toward ion exchange resins and water treatment materials, including products used for the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The project has received support from the New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC). On October 22, the organization confirmed the closing of a $15 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing transaction, with JPMorgan Chase serving as the tax credit investor and providing an additional $3 million in NMTC allocation, bringing the total allocation for the related financing to $18 million. These amounts pertain to financing and tax credit arrangements and are not equivalent to the $30 million total expansion investment confirmed by the company on October 29.

The site's existing facilities were placed into service in 2020 and handle cation exchange resin manufacturing, processing of other ion exchange media, and production of water treatment materials. The expansion will add building space to the existing production and warehousing layout, with the new construction implemented in conjunction with the original site facilities.
