On April. 25th, the Symposium on China-Canada Economic and Trade Cooperation co-organized by CODA, Chinese Entrepreneurs Association of Saskatchewan and Indigenous International Trading Group of Canada Ltd (IITGC), was successfully held in Beijing. Mr. He Zhenwei, President of CODA, and Mr. William Wang, President of Chinese Entrepreneurs Association of Saskatchewan and CEO of IITGC, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Mr. He Zhenwei said that he hopes Chinese enterprises will seize the window of opportunity during the tariff war, explore the potential for international cooperation, and adjust and strategize their overseas markets in light of the situation to address the severe challenges posed by the U.S. bullying tariffs on the global economy. At the same time, he invited all enterprise representatives to attend the 15th China Overseas Investment Fair, which will be held in Beijing from September 17 to 19 this year, to jointly explore development opportunities and discuss collaboration.
Mr. William Wang introduced the investment hotspots and new opportunities in Canada's Saskatchewan and Alberta provinces. He expressed hope to leverage the CODA’s platform to help Chinese enterprises discover more overseas development opportunities while supporting their expansion and growth in Canada.
Enterprises from different sectors such as energy, equipment manufacturing, and green construction attended the event.
