Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 29, Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and a major supplier of AI servers for Nvidia, announced on Tuesday that it will introduce humanoid robots at its Houston plant, which produces AI servers for Nvidia. The move marks a significant step toward building one of the world’s most advanced AI-driven manufacturing facilities.

The company said the Houston factory will be among the first to deploy humanoid robots powered by Nvidia’s Isaac GR00T N model, integrating the technology directly into production lines. This initiative, unveiled during Nvidia’s developer conference in Washington, D.C., reflects Foxconn’s and Nvidia’s joint goal of establishing a world-class AI smart factory. Reuters previously reported in June that the companies had been discussing the use of humanoid robots at the plant, with operations expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Foxconn, officially known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., emphasized its continued expansion of AI server production across multiple U.S. states. The company is increasing capacity in Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet growing global demand for AI infrastructure.
Foxconn Chairman Young Liu said in a statement: “Our team is bringing the most advanced AI data center solutions to the United States, which will help our leading customers stay ahead in the AI race.” He added that the integration of Nvidia’s AI technology into its manufacturing systems will strengthen efficiency, precision, and competitiveness in the next generation of production environments.
The collaboration highlights Foxconn’s deepening relationship with Nvidia, one of the world’s leading AI chipmakers, as both companies seek to advance the application of robotics and automation in high-tech manufacturing. Nvidia’s Isaac platform is designed to provide robots with advanced perception and decision-making capabilities, allowing them to work safely and efficiently alongside humans on complex tasks.
Foxconn’s move comes as demand for AI servers continues to rise sharply worldwide, driven by the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence across industries such as cloud computing, data analytics, and automation.
