Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 28, Verretex SA (Lausanne, Switzerland) and Fiberloop AB (Sävedalen, Sweden) have formed a strategic partnership to advance circular solutions for composite materials.Verretex nonwoven rGF textiles.

The collaboration combines Fiberloop's advanced composite recycling systems with Verretex's established industrial demand for premium recycled glass fibre (rGF). Following thorough qualification testing, Verretex has verified that fibres recovered through Fiberloop's process meet the highest current standards for consistency, strength, and cleanliness, making them suitable for Verretex's high-performance nonwoven textiles used in wind energy, transportation, construction, and industrial sectors.

Under the agreement, Fiberloop will supply recyclers with fully integrated recycling plants capable of processing both end-of-life and production-scrap composites. Verretex will serve as a reliable, long-term offtaker for the recovered fibres fibres, providing recyclers with both technology and guaranteed market access to support profitable and scalable operations.

Mitchell Anderson, CEO of Verretex, said: "This partnership closes the loop for composite recycling. Fiberloop delivers the most advanced recycling machinery we've tested, and Verretex delivers high-value applications for the resulting fibers. Together, we provide recyclers with everything they need to build a viable circular business model."

Fiberloop's technology is already in commercial use, including a boat-recycling operation developed with Beneteau, Owens Corning, Veolia, and Chomarat, demonstrating its industrial reliability and ability to meet stringent quality requirements.

The Verretex-Fiberloop partnership aims to accelerate composite recycling worldwide. The companies are actively pursuing deployment projects across Europe, North America, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia, working with recyclers, original equipment manufacturers, and relevant stakeholders to expand regional circular economy infrastructure.
