Wedoany.com Report-Dec.14, The Nordex Group has been awarded contracts for the supply and installation of 28 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 102 MW for seven onshore wind projects in France and Belgium.
All contracts include long-term service and maintenance agreements covering multiple years. The customers and project names have not been disclosed.
Turbine deliveries and construction works are scheduled across several regions: in France the Pays de la Loire, Normandie and Grand Est regions; in Belgium the provinces of Ardennes and the Wallonia region.
The French portion totals 77 MW and comprises:
- five N131/3000 turbines for one site,
- eight N117/3675 turbines for a second project,
- four N117/3675 turbines for a third project,
- four N149/4.X turbines for a fourth wind farm.
The Belgian scope amounts to 25 MW and consists of:
- three N131/3600 turbines for one project,
- four N117/3675 turbines each for the remaining two sites.
Nordex will handle the complete delivery, civil works where required, and turbine erection at all locations. The projects are expected to reach commissioning in stages during 2026 and 2027, contributing additional renewable generation capacity to both national grids.
