Wedoany.com Report-Dec.11, Morrisons has significantly strengthened its collaboration with Amazon by installing 350 Amazon self-service return kiosks across its UK supermarket network.

Customers can now complete Amazon returns directly in-store: they simply start the return process in the Amazon app, generate a QR code, scan it at the kiosk, and deposit the parcel. The kiosks are positioned either beside existing Amazon lockers or near the customer service desk, allowing shoppers to handle returns during their regular grocery visit.

John Parry, Head of Services at Morrisons, said: "With parcel deliveries now a part of everyday life for most people in the UK, the introduction of Amazon return kiosks in our stores makes it simple for customers to return parcels during their weekly shop, making it easier than ever before. This convenient new service adds to our existing range of in-store offerings to help our customers and give them more reasons to shop at Morrisons."

The retailer plans to continue expanding the number of kiosks, with full rollout across the estate scheduled for completion in early 2026.

This development forms part of Morrisons' broader strategy to enhance in-store convenience and attract additional footfall through value-added services. The supermarket chain already provides photo printing, Amazon parcel collection points, and operates the UK's largest network of in-store cash deposit machines. By integrating seamless online-return functionality, Morrisons aims to offer a one-stop destination for both grocery shopping and everyday errands.
