Wedoany.com Report-Dec.22, BASF SE has established a new distribution agreement with OQEMA, a prominent chemical distributor in Europe, for supplying polymer dispersions and additives used in construction, architectural paints, and coatings. The partnership, announced on December 15, 2025, in Ludwigshafen and Korschenbroich, Germany, will take effect on January 1, 2026, and apply to 14 selected Central and Eastern European countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
This arrangement integrates BASF's advanced product portfolio with OQEMA's established regional network, technical capabilities, storage infrastructure, and delivery efficiency. It aims to enhance customer access to reliable supplies and support the development of higher-performance and more sustainable formulations.
Customers in the region can anticipate quicker deliveries, expert technical guidance, and specialized services, including access to application laboratories for developing tailored solutions and conducting tests.
Both companies emphasize shared values in quality, dependability, and sustainable practices, positioning the collaboration to foster advancement and expansion in the local paints and coatings sector while assisting clients in adopting circular approaches.
