FairWind Secures Contract from Vestas to Provide Installation Services for Scotland's Sanquhar II Wind Project

Wedoany.com News, recently, the Danish wind energy service provider FairWind announced that it has secured a contract from wind turbine giant Vestas to provide installation services for all 44 turbines at the Sanquhar II wind farm, a major onshore wind project in Scotland.

The Sanquhar II wind farm is one of the UK's fourth largest and most significant investment projects in the energy infrastructure sector. It is expected to commence operations in 2027, with an annual power generation capacity of 1.2 TWh, sufficient to meet the electricity needs of over 335,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 540,000 tons per year.
