Independently developed by our company, the Wireless Gyroscopic Measurement While Drilling System (GMWD) is the first domestically introduced low-cost, high-performance MEMS-based solution of its kind. GMWD breaks through key technical bottlenecks, delivering accurate inclination measurements without fear of magnetic interference and without the need for non-magnetic drill collars. It can be connected to a conventional inclinometer for use inside a non-magnetic drill collar to enable real-time comparison of dual measurement data, or it can operate independently, flexibly adapting to various drilling conditions. Compared with traditional fiber-optic gyroscopic MWD systems, GMWD features significantly lower cost and power consumption.
