Product Overview:
The instrument adopts the gas correlation infrared absorption method. The basic working principle is: nitrous oxide has absorption characteristics for infrared radiation of specific wavelengths, and the absorption strength has a certain relationship with the nitrous oxide concentration. The detection method is: infrared light from the infrared light source passes sequentially through the nitrous oxide and N₂ in the rotating wheel, the filter, and then enters the optical chamber through a narrow-band interference filter. The infrared light passing through the nitrous oxide filter in the filter wheel is absorbed and cannot absorb N₂O in the sample gas again in the optical chamber, forming the reference light intensity. The infrared light passing through the N₂ filter in the filter wheel is not absorbed and shines on the sample gas in the optical chamber. The N₂O in the sample gas absorbs infrared radiation, forming the measurement light intensity that passes through the optical chamber and shines on the infrared detector. The concentration of N₂O in the sample gas is calculated using the Lambert-Beer law from the ratio of the two light intensities.
