Product Overview:
This instrument adopts the chemiluminescence method. The basic working principle is: NO reacts with O₃ to generate excited-state NO₂, which releases energy in the form of fluorescence at a specific wavelength when returning to the ground state. The intensity of this fluorescence is linearly proportional to the NO concentration. The photomultiplier tube converts the light signal into an electrical signal to measure the NO concentration. The sample gas detection method is: the NOₓ in the sample gas is divided into two paths. One path enters the reaction chamber, where NO in the sample gas reacts with O₃ to measure the NO concentration. The other path enters the converter furnace, where NO₂ in the sample gas is converted to NO, and then enters the reaction chamber to react with O₃. The measured concentration is NO₂ + NO = NOₓ. The NO₂ concentration is obtained by subtracting the NO concentration from the NOₓ concentration.
