Product Overview:
The instrument adopts the gas filter correlation infrared absorption method. The basic working principle is: CO has absorption characteristics for infrared radiation at a specific wavelength (4.67μm), and the absorption strength has a certain relationship with the CO concentration. The detection method is: infrared light from the infrared light source passes sequentially through the CO and N₂ filters in the rotating filter wheel, and then enters the optical chamber through a narrow-band interference filter. The infrared light passing through the CO filter in the filter wheel is absorbed and cannot absorb CO in the sample gas again in the optical chamber, forming the reference light intensity. The infrared light passing through the N₂ filter in the filter wheel is not absorbed and shines on the sample gas in the optical chamber. The CO in the sample gas absorbs infrared radiation, forming the measurement light intensity that passes through the optical chamber and shines on the infrared detector. The concentration of CO in the sample gas is calculated using the Lambert-Beer law from the ratio of the two light intensities.
