The VXZ intelligent natural gas inner cone flowmeter is a new type of intelligent gas flowmeter integrating high-precision differential pressure transmitter, pressure transmitter, temperature sensor, intelligent totalizer, and inner cone, specially designed for natural gas and compressed air flow measurement.
Main Features
- a) Self-rectifying function, no need for very long straight pipe sections: upstream ≤3D, downstream ≤1D.
- b) Reynolds number range: 8×10³ ~ 1×10⁷, upper limit can be higher, lower limit can be lower.
- c) Wide turndown ratio of 10:1, can be higher.

- j) Uses 128×63 graphic dot-matrix LCD to display cumulative flow (standard conditions), instantaneous flow (standard conditions), natural gas compressibility factor, density, pressure, differential pressure, temperature, current time and last power-down time, daily/monthly/annual report query.
- k) Automatic recovery function: In addition to software watchdog, hardware system also has watchdog. Power-on/off reset system ensures forced recovery of instrument operation in case of program error or unexpected crash.
- l) Power-down protection function: Instrument computation and user-set data will not be lost during power failure, saved for more than ten years.
- m) Automatic power switching function: This instrument also supports UPS power connection. When normal external power is available, UPS is in charging state; when external power suddenly fails, the instrument automatically switches to UPS power.
- n) This series of products adopts explosion-proof design, certified by the National Explosion-proof Safety Supervision and Inspection Station for Instrumentation (NEPSI), complies with national standards GB3836.1-2000, GB3836.2-2000, GB3836.3-2000, explosion-proof mark Exde II BT4, explosion-proof certificate No. GYB071045.

Output methods
- a. Uses RS485, RS232 interface, can directly network with host computer or secondary instrument, remotely display measured two-phase flow medium temperature, pressure, differential pressure, standard instantaneous flow, standard cumulative flow, holdup ratio, daily/monthly/annual reports, power-down records, and various set parameters.
- b. 4~20mA current signal output, corresponding to zero flow and maximum flow.
- c. Has frequency signal output proportional to standard volume flow, 0~1000HZ corresponding to minimum flow and maximum flow.
- d. Has calibration pulse output: one pulse output for every certain unit of standard volume metered by the flowmeter. (Note: Frequency signal and calibration pulse output signal can only be selected as one by software setting)
5 Real-time data storage function
For user data management needs, the flowmeter can store real-time data detected and calculated by the totalizer in real time.
6 Wireless data transmission function
The flowmeter can transmit real-time data to the host computer via GPRS system in SMS form, enabling automated production management.
