Features of Integrated Inner Cone Flowmeter
1 Accuracy and Repeatability
The positive pressure tap of the integrated inner cone flowmeter is taken on the pipe wall upstream of the cone, with the tapping position selected in the uniform velocity region of ideal fluid, resulting in stable positive pressure signal; the negative pressure tap is located at the center of the cone tail, exactly in the region of minimum downstream pressure. Due to the centrally symmetric structure of the cone, the flow field in the cone tail center region is relatively static, and after throttling, only high-frequency low-amplitude small vortices appear in the negative pressure zone, making the negative pressure signal fluctuation very small, thus outputting stable differential pressure signal. Sensor accuracy is better than ±0.5% of reading, repeatability ±0.1%, and custody transfer type accuracy ±0.3%.
2 Wide Turndown Ratio and Low Pressure Loss
VXZ inner cone flowmeter turndown ratio is 10:1, with low pressure loss.
3 Self-cleaning and Self-rectifying Functions
Thorough sweeping design of the cone body avoids retention of residues, condensates, and particles in the fluid.
4 Long-term Stability
The unique streamlined cone of the integrated inner cone flowmeter has a "streamlined body boundary layer effect", preventing dirty fluids from wearing the throttling edge, ensuring constant β value over long term. The entire meter has no moving parts, requiring no recalibration, with excellent long-term stability.
