The same diameter can be set with multiple throttling area ratios to suit different flow range measurements.
- Accuracy: better than ±1%
- Repeatability: ±0.5%
- Pressure loss: about 1/5 of measured differential pressure (approximately 1/3 of orifice plate)
- Suitable media: various liquids, gases, and steam, especially suitable for high-viscosity fluids
- Reynolds number application range: 500~10⁶ (when measuring at low Reynolds number, turndown ratio is relatively reduced, uncertainty of discharge coefficient relatively increases)
- Measured liquid viscosity: 500mPa·s or higher
- Medium pressure resistance: 16MPa
- Medium temperature resistance: below 300°C (higher temperature negotiable)
- Applicable pipe: DN25~DN300
- Wedge ratio h/D: 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5
