Working Principle
The greatest difference between a closed cooling tower and an open cooling tower lies in whether the medium being cooled comes into contact with the air. In a closed cooling tower, the circulating cooling water does not directly contact the outside air. Instead, heat is transferred to the spray water through the evaporative heat exchange tube bundle, and the circulating cooling water inside the tubes is cooled by means of the evaporation of the spray water and the sensible heat transfer of the air, thereby achieving the purpose of closed-circuit cooling and heat exchange for the circulating water.
