Working Principle
The turbine exhaust steam enters the steam distribution pipe through the main exhaust pipe and is evenly distributed into the heat exchange tube bundles on both sides. The axial flow fan blows ambient cold air over the surface of the heat exchange tube bundles, and the exhaust steam in the tubes is condensed into water through convective heat transfer. The condensate collects in the lower header and enters the next cycle through the condensate pump. Non-condensable gases are discharged into the atmosphere through the top header of the countercurrent tube bundle by the vacuum system.
