Working Principle
A new-type integrated plume abatement and water-saving packing is installed in the packing layer inside the tower. The plume abatement and water-saving packing is divided into a dry channel and a wet channel. Utilizing the suction force of the fan, ambient cold air (cold source) is introduced into the tower through two routes: one route of cold air undergoes indirect heat exchange with the circulating water (heat source) in the wet channel through the partition wall in the dry channel, while the other route of cold air undergoes direct contact heat exchange with the circulating water in the wet channel. After heat exchange, the two air streams are fully mixed in the mixing section upon leaving the packing. The air exiting the air duct is unsaturated air, meaning no plume is generated. During the plume abatement process, since the sprayed hot water undergoes indirect heat exchange with one route of dry cold air in the plume abatement and water-saving packing, no evaporation of the spray water occurs in this portion of heat exchange, thereby reducing the evaporation of circulating water and achieving water savings.
