Product introduction:
This cable is suitable for the down conductor of the lightning protection system of wind turbine generators. The main cable and branch cables are connected by metal coupling tubes, and the branch cables are connected to the lightning receptor points on the wind turbine blades, allowing lightning to be guided through the branch cables and main cables to the ground. The cable uses multiple branching structures, allowing multiple lightning receptor points to be set on the turbine blades, connecting multiple branch cables, reducing the probability of a single branch cable being struck by lightning, and extending the service life. Due to the use of insulation materials with excellent electrical properties and proper insulation treatment at the metal connection tubes, the cable can withstand high lightning strike currents. It also has salt corrosion resistance, high reliability, and meets the lightning protection requirements of both onshore and offshore wind turbines.

Usage characteristics:

①The ambient temperature during cable installation should not be lower than 0°C.

②The allowable bending radius during installation should not be less than 20 times the cable outer diameter.

Note: 1) The conductor shall be annealed copper conductor with metal plating or without metal plating in accordance with GB/T 3956-2008.

2) The conductor shielding material shall be cross-linkable semi-conductive shielding material, and the insulation shall be peroxide cross-linked polyethylene insulation material.

Other structures

① The cable adopts branch structure, and the length of the main line and branch line, the number of branches and the branch position shall be subject to the agreement between our company and the user.

② The connection between the main line and the branch line is carried out on the bare conductor after the insulation and shielding are stripped. The material of the branch connection fittings is copper, and the crimping connection is adopted.

③ The branch after the connection is injection molded and sealed with thermoplastic elastomer. The nominal thickness of thermoplastic elastomer injection molding is 5.0mm, the average thickness should not be less than 4.0mm.
