Wedoany.com Report on 9th, Artificial intelligence technology is expanding from language models to physical intelligence systems, with digital twins, robots, and simulation tools becoming critical components of manufacturing and logistics strategies. Deloitte recently announced a deepening of its collaboration with NVIDIA to expand its physical AI capabilities and support industrial transformation.

Nitin Mittal, Deloitte Global AI Leader, stated: "Physical AI is rapidly moving from experimentation to real-world deployment and is transforming how work gets done. By combining NVIDIA's technology stack with Deloitte's engineering expertise, we help organizations build intelligent physical spaces for the AI era." This collaboration leverages advanced simulation, computer vision, and secure edge computing technologies to bridge the gap between digital planning and real-world operations.

The two parties jointly develop solutions based on NVIDIA's simulation and digital twin libraries. The new services are powered by NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise, Riva, Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine, and Metropolis technologies. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said: "AI and metaverse technologies are reshaping the foundations of the economy. Together, NVIDIA and Deloitte can help enterprises apply AI to create new products and services and transform industries."

Physical AI refers to systems that can perceive, understand, and act in the real world, such as factory robots, sensors, and simulation platforms. According to the "State of Enterprise AI" report, 58% of companies are already using physical AI to some extent, and adoption is expected to rise to 80% over the next two years. This shift moves AI from back-office analytics to on-site decision-making, reducing downtime and accelerating technology deployment.

Deloitte's physical AI applications include using NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to build digital twins and integrating AI, AR, and VR technologies for immersive simulation, enabling businesses to visualize and optimize workflows. At an automotive factory in Spain, Deloitte tools were used to predict equipment failures and improve inspection processes. Deepu Talla, Vice President of Robotics and Edge AI at NVIDIA, said: "Combining NVIDIA's full-stack physical AI platform with Deloitte's industry experience provides organizations with a scalable path to bring intelligent systems to production faster through simulation." Deloitte is establishing a global network of physical AI Centers of Excellence, with a new center in Shanghai marking its first major expansion.
