Wedonay.com Report on Mar 10th, Swire Coca-Cola (Suzhou) Beverage Co., Ltd. recently successfully obtained its food production license, marking a key milestone for the Swire Coca-Cola Kunshan factory project, which is about to commence formal production.

The project, signed in 2023, is located in the Kunshan Development Zone, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan. It represents Swire Coca-Cola's largest single investment in China in recent years. The factory will be built as its R&D, manufacturing base, and distribution and sales center for the East China region, serving the regional market.

The Swire Coca-Cola Kunshan factory is positioned as a modern, intelligent, and green production base. Closely aligned with the industry trend of intelligent upgrading, it will introduce advanced beverage production equipment and processes, integrating cloud services, big data technology, and green, low-carbon concepts. The factory plans to install approximately 13 production lines.

Currently, the construction of the factory project has been completed, and equipment and production lines are being installed and commissioned on-site. With the approval of the food production license, the factory will enter the formal production phase. It is expected that at full capacity, the maximum annual output will exceed 1.6 million tons, with annual sales reaching 1.2 billion yuan, further strengthening Swire Coca-Cola's footprint in the East China market.
