They held talks with Xiao Yafei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CIRC, Zhang Junqi, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Cao Aiwei, Deputy General Manager, reaching a consensus on deepening cooperation. CIRC and CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Hedewei) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Maoming City.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks a new stage in the collaboration between Maoming City, CIRC, and CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Hedewei). According to the agreement, the three parties will fully leverage Maoming City's resource endowments, relying on the capital, technology, market, and management advantages of CIRC and CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Hedewei) in the nuclear technology application industry chain. They will focus on key technological breakthroughs in the stable isotope field, jointly promote the agglomeration and implementation of the nuclear technology application industry in the western Guangdong region, and strive to build Maoming into an important stable isotope R&D and production base and a nuclear medicine application demonstration zone in South China. The three parties stated that they will take this signing as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and coordination, accelerate the implementation of projects, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and contribute to the implementation of the national "Dual Carbon" strategy and the "Healthy China" strategy.
