Two Building Material Industry Standards Led by Suzhou Concrete Institute Approved, Set to Take Effect in September

Wedoany.com Report on Mar 16th, Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued Announcement No. 3 of 2026, approving 453 industry standards. Among them are the "Technical Specification for Concrete Pumping for Pole Production" (JC/T 60038-2026) and the "Technical Specification for Application of Basalt Fiber and Alkali-Resistant Glass Fiber Concrete" (JC/T 60039-2026), both led by Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute Testing Center Co., Ltd. These two standards are scheduled to take effect on September 1, 2026.

The "Technical Specification for Concrete Pumping for Pole Production" specifies the general principles, pumping equipment, concrete raw materials, concrete mix design, pouring, and quality control for concrete used in pole production. It is applicable to the concrete pumping process in pole manufacturing. The "Technical Specification for Application of Basalt Fiber and Alkali-Resistant Glass Fiber Concrete" specifies the general principles, terminology, raw materials, performance and test methods, mix proportion design, construction, and acceptance of basalt fiber and alkali-resistant glass fiber concrete. It is applicable to the performance and test methods, mix proportion design, construction, and acceptance of such concrete. The release of these two standards will provide a technical basis for the development of related fields in the building materials industry.
