en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 23rd, Austrian high-end security label manufacturer Securikett has developed an innovative partial adhesive coating technology to enhance the security of anti-counterfeiting labels. Instead of applying adhesive uniformly across the entire surface, this technology customizes unique patterns according to customer requirements. These patterns are not available through standard materials, thereby increasing the difficulty of imitation.

The partial adhesive coating is exclusively produced by Securikett based on customer specifications, utilizing precisely defined application-specific patterns to ensure each customer's coating pattern is unique. Due to the lack of identical coating technology, this material is difficult to imitate, effectively enhancing anti-counterfeiting capabilities.
Vanessa Mitterer-Kling, Head of the Research Department, stated: "Our partial adhesive coating involves a technically complex and difficult-to-access manufacturing process. This is not just an innovative adhesive solution—this highly effective security feature consistently slows down counterfeiting activities."
Securikett performs all production steps in-house, from base materials to silicone and adhesive application. Labels can also be combined with hidden or conspicuous security features, such as VOID effects, which cause visible and irreversible changes upon tampering. Vanessa Mitterer-Kling said: "While traditional label manufacturers only print on pre-made self-adhesive laminates, we control the entire value chain." This technology aims to provide more reliable security label solutions for the packaging industry.
