Mingyang Smart Energy and BASF Begin Offshore Wind Farm Construction in China

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 28,Mingyang Smart Energy has announced the start of construction on the first Sino-German offshore wind farm in partnership with BASF Zhanjiang, located in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China.

Set to operate by 2025, the 500 MW wind farm will provide renewable energy to the BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site, aiming for a 100% green energy supply. This project marks BASF's first offshore wind initiative outside Europe.
