en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the "Key Technology for Intelligent Driving Assistance and Integrated Control of Mining Trackless Rubber-Tyred Vehicles" project of China Coal Huajin Company passed the achievement appraisal by the China Coal Society. The project has reached an internationally advanced level overall, with high praise received for its intelligent dispatching in underground coal mines. The project was led by China Coal Huajin Company and jointly completed with relevant scientific research institutions, aiming to solve the safety and efficiency problems of auxiliary transportation in underground coal mines.
In underground coal mines, trackless rubber-tyred vehicles are the main auxiliary transportation tools, offering advantages such as flexible dispatching and the ability for long-distance continuous transport. Constrained by factors like the complex underground environment, numerous blind spots, and large operating spans, their safety risks are relatively high, and their intelligent development faces bottlenecks. The project team spent nearly three years overcoming challenges such as unreliable environmental perception, high latency in mobile communication, and low integration of collaborative control, establishing a vehicle-road-cloud tripartite collaborative control system. This system has made progress in areas such as infrared/visible light/laser cross-domain fusion perception, a 3D GIS visualization platform, dynamic ride-sharing dispatching, and short-term demand forecasting, achieving a shift from manual experience-based dispatching to intelligent dynamic dispatching. The intelligent transformation of trackless rubber-tyred vehicles is a key link in the implementation of this system.
Currently, this achievement has been fully applied at China's Wangjialing Coal Mine, establishing a wireless Mesh network covering key roadways, along with complete sets of equipment including thermal imaging and audible and visual alarms. All 148 trackless rubber-tyred vehicles in the mine have undergone intelligent transformation and been connected to the system. Since the system was put into operation, the mine has achieved over 100,000 kilometers of continuous safe operation, forming an intelligent auxiliary transportation system integrating intelligent dispatching, safety assurance, and vehicle-road collaboration. The operational efficiency and safety of the trackless rubber-tyred vehicles have been improved.
China Coal Huajin Company plans to continue focusing on tackling core intelligent technologies for coal mines and promote the implementation of more innovative projects in mines. Following the appraisal of this project, the company will continue to advance the application of related technologies in other mining areas.
