en.Wedoany.com Reported - Simed (Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition) will strengthen the Innova section in its 2026 edition, a dedicated area focusing on innovation in the real estate and construction sectors, aiming to bring together companies, government agencies, startups, and professionals to analyze the technologies and business models driving the industry's transformation.

The Innova section is structured around three core pillars: a strategic content forum, a technology solutions exhibition area, and the fifth edition of the Open Call for Startups (V Open Call for Startups). This call is an international initiative targeting emerging companies with innovative proposals within the real estate and construction value chain.

Sponsored by Bilba, the section's agenda will cover major trends such as industrialized housing, Construction 4.0, building decarbonization, and the application of artificial intelligence in design, management, and marketing processes. Bilba, a company specializing in the IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) methodology, industrialization, and process digitalization, will once again sponsor this area dedicated to knowledge and experience exchange. Conference sessions will analyze the capacity of industrialization to meet affordable housing demand, the application of new financing systems, the digitalization of construction processes, and the use of AI tools to optimize planning, automate tasks, and improve decision-making.

The exhibition area will bring together solutions related to advanced materials, industrialized construction systems, and technologies aimed at improving building energy efficiency. Covered fields include: thermal envelope and insulation, acoustics and waterproofing, energy retrofitting, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, modular construction and prefabrication, steel frame structures, air conditioning and heat pumps, photovoltaic power generation, and energy management.

Exhibiting companies also include those focused on BIM, digital twins, the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, data analytics, and smart building technologies. Another thematic axis is reducing the environmental impact of construction, with exhibited solutions involving low-carbon materials, lifecycle analysis, waste management, recycling, and circular economy strategies applied to the building sector. Confirmed participating institutions include Sacyr, 011h, Zennio, CIP Arquitectos, Eurecat, and Cesefor.

Simed will once again host the fifth edition of the Open Call for Startups, aimed at identifying innovative projects applied to the real estate and construction industry. The call targets startups developing solutions in the following areas: PropTech, ConTech, FinTech, artificial intelligence, data analytics, smart buildings, asset management, industrialized construction, sustainability, energy efficiency, and new models for real estate investment and sales.

The exhibition will take place from November 12 to 14 at FYCMA - Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Center, bringing together real estate developers, construction companies, architectural firms, engineering companies, technology consultancies, manufacturers, and government representatives related to housing and urban planning.
