en.Wedoany.com Reported - Supermicro (Super Micro Computer, Inc.) announced the expansion of its AI edge computing solution portfolio optimized by Intel technology, adding multiple systems powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Intel Core Series 2 processors, and Intel Arc Pro B-Series GPUs. These systems, ranging from compact fanless industrial systems, short-depth 1U rackmount servers, to mini tower chassis, are designed to provide low-latency AI inference and intelligent automation support for organizations in retail, manufacturing, security, and logistics.
Mory Lin, Vice President of IoT, Embedded, and Edge Computing at Supermicro, stated that as the adoption of agentic AI accelerates, organizations need edge infrastructure deployed near data generation points to deliver real-time inference, low-latency performance, and high energy efficiency. The company's latest Intel-driven edge systems, combined with the DCBBS product portfolio, offer customers greater cost control and deployment flexibility.
The fanless SYS-E103-14P integrates the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor into a compact DIN-rail mountable edge platform, optimized for AI inference workloads such as computer vision and industrial automation. Equipped with an integrated GPU and NPU, the system delivers up to 180 TOPS of combined AI performance, enabling edge agentic AI workloads without the need for a discrete GPU. It supports 128GB of DDR5 memory, offers extensive I/O connectivity, and operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C.
Supermicro also introduced the SYS-521AD-LN2 slim AI mini tower chassis, powered by Intel Core Series 2 processors. Designed for localized AI inference, model development, and fine-tuning in office and edge environments, it features up to 12 high-performance P-cores, up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, and supports compact GPU accelerators, including the Intel Arc Pro B50 GPU and the NVIDIA RTX Pro Blackwell 2000 GPU.
The short-depth 1U SYS-111AD-WN2R and compact SYS-E300-13AD5 edge systems have also been updated to support Intel Core Series 2 processors and DDR5 memory. Supermicro simultaneously supports Intel Arc Pro B-Series GPUs in its edge AI server portfolio, with the Arc Pro B70 delivering 367 TOPS of concurrent performance and 32GB of VRAM; the Arc Pro B60 offering 197 TOPS with expanded memory bandwidth and multi-GPU scalability; and the Arc Pro B50 providing 170 TOPS for space-constrained deployments.
Dan Rodriguez, Vice President and General Manager of the Edge Computing Division at Intel, stated that edge AI workloads require a combination of high-performance computing, energy efficiency, scalable acceleration, and reasonable total cost of ownership. Supermicro's DCBBS product portfolio supports flexible deployment from single servers to full rack-level and data center-level solutions.
