en.Wedoany.com Reported - NorthVault AI has announced plans to build an artificial intelligence data center campus in Ontario, Canada. The project currently has 4MW of grid power available, which is expected to increase to 43.75MW by the third quarter of 2027, with a long-term goal of reaching 120MW.
The one-year-old data center company released these plans this week. Specific details regarding the site location and construction timeline have not yet been disclosed. According to the company's website, the site will utilize direct-to-chip liquid cooling and closed-loop cooling systems, and will be connected to Toronto and Chicago via diverse dark fiber by three operators.
Chris Tsiropoulos, President of NorthVault AI, stated that the company has addressed the two constraints that determine AI transactions: power and connectivity. He said that qualified operators can deploy on a timeline that few sites in North America can match. According to his LinkedIn profile, Tsiropoulos is based in London, Ontario, and previously worked in real estate development.
NorthVault stated that it is currently in discussions with neocloud operators and AI and high-performance computing tenants, and has begun accepting reservations for the currently available 4MW of power, while also evaluating strategic partnerships during the construction phase.
