en.Wedoany.com Reported - Private Technology has been selected as the contractor for the 2026 National Network Security Framework (N2SF) implementation support project, tasked with building an energy-specific cloud center to expand artificial intelligence (AI) virtual power plants.

Private Technology, in a consortium with KT, AI Spera, Enki WhiteHat, and SGA Solutions, will build an energy-specific cloud center for the Ministry of Energy and Environment and KEPCO KDN. The core of the project is to connect public information with private renewable energy generation data based on N2SF in a cloud environment, using it for virtual power plant (VPP) operations and establishing an energy AI operation model.
A virtual power plant is a method of integrating distributed renewable energy resources such as solar and wind power into a unified system for operation. Since renewable energy generation fluctuates significantly due to weather conditions and demand changes, data-based forecasting and real-time operational decision-making are crucial. The consortium plans to integrate public data, high-precision weather data, and private renewable energy generation information to verify a cloud center model that can improve generation forecasting accuracy and energy operation efficiency.
This project applies AI to the VPP operation environment to address generation fluctuations and optimize the allocation and operation of energy resources. The project's policy is to convert public data, previously managed through internal networks, into data assets usable in the energy industry by connecting it with a cloud-based analysis environment. The energy-specific cloud center is a platform integrating data collection, connection, analysis, and operation. Through this platform, the consortium plans to verify the cloud operation environment and service applicability required for expanding private generation systems.
Kim Young-rang, CEO of Private Technology, stated that the core of the public network transition is converting public data into AI-usable assets. The project will verify an energy-specific operation model combining N2SF, AI, and VPP, and lay the foundation for AI data utilization, enabling its expansion to the entire public and industrial infrastructure. Additionally, Private Technology serves as the contractor for one of the six consortia selected for the N2SF implementation support project, while also participating as a member in the Initech consortium and the HuneSion consortium. Following last year, it has again undertaken N2SF-led projects and joined multiple consortia, thereby expanding the technical application scope of public information utilization.
