en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ligga Telecom has completed a new phase of fiber optic infrastructure expansion in Paraná, adopting a pre-connected network model aimed at reducing deployment time and enhancing technical standardization and operational efficiency. The company's network modernization strategy utilizes Fibracem's PRECON solution, a pre-connection technology that supports faster and more standardized fiber optic infrastructure expansion.

Over the past two years, with the support of Fibracem, the project has deployed over 9,400 network access points (NAPs), a total of 1,235 kilometers of fiber optic network, and activated 115,000 customer ports, with a total investment of R$15.55 million and 30 dedicated teams.

Ligga stated that the modernization has expanded network operational capacity, supporting both user growth and the migration of users from older infrastructure to a more stable network capable of handling rising data traffic. Humberto Sartini, Executive Manager of Engineering and Information Technology at Ligga Telecom, stated that the PRECON solution brings greater operational agility, technical standardization, and efficiency to infrastructure expansion, directly impacting customer service speed, reducing operational failures, and improving the end-user experience.

This initiative aligns with broader transformation trends in the telecommunications industry. Consumption growth driven by streaming, cloud applications, hybrid work, artificial intelligence, and enterprise digitalization continues to drive demand for higher capacity and more stable networks. Fibracem considers the PRECON network the best solution for operators to achieve rapid expansion while ensuring quality and operational efficiency. Currently, Ligga completes approximately 5,000 new installations per month using the established infrastructure. The company's strategy focuses on increasing the utilization rate of existing networks and expanding infrastructure to meet demand growth in the coming years. In addition to the residential sector, this infrastructure also supports connectivity services for small and medium-sized enterprises, with potential applications in projects such as digital cities, planned communities, logistics centers, and business parks, which have been included in the operator's business plans for 2026 and 2027.
