The Second Phase of the Digital Transformation Training Program for China's Nonferrous Metals Industry Held in Hefei

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the second phase of the 2026 special training program on digital transformation for China's nonferrous metals industry was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. The training was guided by the Digital Transformation Promotion Center of the Nonferrous Metals Industry and jointly hosted by the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center, bringing together 70 participants from 35 enterprises nationwide.

Huang Haibo, Deputy Director of the Training Division of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, "accelerating innovation in digital intelligence technologies such as artificial intelligence to support the digital transformation and intelligent upgrade of traditional industries" is a key development direction explicitly proposed by the state. Liu Jiuqing, a member of the Party Committee of the Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center, noted that the digital transformation of the nonferrous metals industry has created more urgent and diverse demands for talent.

The training focused on industry digital transformation and AI+ intelligent equipment operation and maintenance, covering policy interpretation, practical application of maturity assessment standards, and the implementation of AI-empowered intelligent operation and maintenance in the nonferrous metals industry. The training also organized participants to visit the Ronds AI Equipment Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Industrial Park and the digital transformation demonstration scenarios of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group's Jinxin Copper Branch.

This training established an important platform for experience exchange and talent cultivation in the digital transformation of the nonferrous metals industry.
