China's First 12MW Intelligent Cooling System for Deep Mines Passes Acceptance

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the evaluation and acceptance review meeting for the "Three Highs, Three Lows" intelligent pressure coupling technology and equipment research, development, and demonstration, along with the results release conference, was held in Huainan, Anhui Province, China. The conference was hosted by the China Coal Society, China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd., and the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Unmanned Mining Digital Technology.

The project successfully developed China's first 12MW intelligent and efficient pressure coupling equipment for deep mine cooling systems, precisely achieving the "Three Highs, Three Lows" performance targets of high safety, high efficiency, high reliability, and low temperature rise, low flow resistance, and low pulsation. It established a complete set of deep mine cooling technologies with fully independent intellectual property rights. Currently, the results have been implemented as an engineering demonstration at the Liuzhuang Coal Mine of China Coal Xinji Energy Co., Ltd., operating stably for over 50 days. On-site measurement data shows that the total resistance loss of the equipment is only 60kPa, and the temperature rise from primary chilled water to secondary chilled water is as low as 0.26°C, with core comprehensive performance fully surpassing similar imported equipment.

The expert panel unanimously determined that the project has completed all research and development tasks with high quality, and the overall technical achievements have reached an internationally leading level. Led by Wang Guofa, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the expert panel went deep into the underground operation site of the Liuzhuang Coal Mine of China Coal Xinji Energy Co., Ltd. to inspect the equipment's operating status on-site.

The successful implementation of this technical achievement has broken the monopoly of foreign mine cooling pressure coupling equipment, achieving full autonomy and controllability in technology, equipment, and application.
