North American Mining Renews Aggregate Contracts with Annual Production Nearing 5 Million Tons

en.Wedoany.com Reported - North American Mining has completed multi-year contract renewals with customers in Florida and Arkansas, with the new agreements covering a combined annual aggregate production of nearly 5 million tons.

Both newly signed agreements extend the company's existing relationships with its customers, with operations targeting limestone mining in central Florida and sand and gravel production in southwestern Arkansas.

In Florida, North American Mining signed a 20-year renewal contract with a customer it has worked with for many years, doubling the term of the original agreement. Under the contract, the company will continue to provide dragline mining operations at two limestone quarries, with expected annual production ranging from 3 million to 4 million tons. Additionally, North American Mining plans to deploy higher-capacity equipment at these sites to improve operational efficiency and output levels.

The Arkansas renewal agreement is a four-year contract signed with an existing sand and gravel customer, with expected annual production of approximately 800,000 tons.

Phillip Berry, President of North American Mining, stated that the two agreements reflect the long-standing relationships the company has built with its customers. He noted that long-term partnerships are earned through performance; over time, the team becomes deeply integrated into customer operations, genuinely understands customer needs, and works with customers to create lasting value.

Berry also pointed out that the renewed contracts will support the continued expansion of the company's contract mining business. In his view, such agreements lay a solid foundation for mutual growth in terms of expanding business scale and supporting customers' long-term development.

The contract renewals bring long-term production commitments to North American Mining, while infrastructure demand continues to support the market absorption of limestone and sand and gravel. North American Mining provides contract mining services to industrial mineral producers and is part of the NACCO Natural Resources business system.
